CrewAI Selected for the Enterprise Tech 30

Year One: Vision. Year Two: Proof.

CrewAI Selected for the Enterprise Tech 30

For the second year in a row, CrewAI has been selected for Enterprise Tech 30! Exciting!

If you're not familiar with the ET30, here's what makes it different from every other "top companies" list: it's not editorial picks, it's not pay-to-play, it's a structured vote by 98 investors across 85 firms managing a combined $2.6 trillion in assets, between small and extremely large organizations, these are the investors who fund the companies building the next decade of enterprise technology and they vote based on what they're seeing in the market.

This year, CrewAI was listed under Agent Development within the AI Infrastructure & Development category, that category now represents 43% of the entire ET30, in 2019, it was 0%.

Let that land for a second, zero to the single largest category in seven years!
The report calls it the "AI and agentic supercycle", we've been calling it the future of how enterprises operate since day one.

The ET30 2026 report highlights the "Rise of the Agentic Developer" as a defining theme, the agent development is now a standalone sub-category, 72% of ET30 companies are AI-native, up from 3% in 2022.
The entire landscape has shifted toward the infrastructure that makes agents work in production. Not demos, not prototypes, production.

That's what we build.

What this means to us

Being on this list once is a signal, being on it twice means the signal is getting stronger.

Last year, the vote was a bet on the vision, multi-agent orchestration, open source foundation, enterprise-grade control plane. Some folks pushed back hard "many agents compound the error rate, this won't work", we kept locked in, heads down and building, and nowadays everyone knows multi agents is the way, and gravitated towards similar abstractions to CrewAI.

This year it's a bet on the proof. Over 2 billion agentic executions processed, Fortune 500 companies running production workloads, a team that ships every single day. We are doing the same, heads down and focused, building is clearly being commoditized and after helping many enterprise companies start their agentic journey we have clear direction where to go next and keep re-inventing, this is so far the year we most invested in R&D, there were a lot of internal breakthroughs and in not too far from now we will be sharing more about what comes next, now we proven right on the multi agent abstraction.

I'm honored, to be on this list, if you see the house I was born in a small neighbourhoods in São Paulo, Brazil, the fact I started working at the age of 13 and how much my parents had to work to support our family dreams, I would have never guessed I would have the opportunity to have a company listed alongside companies like Anthropic, OpenAI, Cursor, Databricks, Stripe, and SpaceX. That's not lost on me and is not lost on us. That said, this is not the end, and "it's in the bag only when it's in the bag" we have a long way ahead of us and we are excited for the future to come!
I'm an optimist and a believer on the future, a future where AI Agents will completely transform the workforce in a massive positive way!

I wanna take this opportuniy to renew our commitment, on how we spend our energy, we spend our energy:

  • On the customers deploying agents that replace million-dollar implementations.
  • On the open source community that pushes us to build better.
  • On the problems that still don't have good solutions.

Thank you

To Wing Venture Capital for running the most rigorous research process in enterprise tech. To Eric Newcomer for bringing editorial independence to the process for the second year. To the 98 investors who voted.

To the CrewAI team, you built this, every late night, every hard week, every production fire drill. This recognition is yours.

To our open source community. You showed up before anyone was paying attention, you filed issues, submitted PRs, built things we never imagined, and told your friends. We don't get here without you.

To our customers. You trusted us with real workloads, you pushed us to be better and you proved that agentic systems can run in production.

What's next

We're not spending a lot of time looking at the trophy case, the agentic era is still early, the category is still being defined, and we intend to define it.

Year one they voted for the vision. Year two they voted for the proof.
Year three, we're building the thing that makes the entire category undeniable.
And we will launch it soon.
